Required topics

First renewal & exemptions

New licensees are exempt for their first triennial; full-time faculty and inactive-status vets are exempt.

If your license lapses

Non-compliant licensees aren't registered to practice; a 1-year conditional registration can bridge missed credits.

How CE is tracked

Affirm compliance at re-registration; keep records 6 years for random audit.

Watch out: No more than 22.5 of the 45 hours may be self-instructional, and the cycle is 3 years — much longer than CA/FL biennial or TX annual.
