Required topics
- 4 hrs of a Washington-board-approved ethics & regulations course (WAC 4-30-134) — generic AICPA ethics doesn't count
First renewal & exemptions

If your license lapses
The license lapses July 1 if requirements are unmet; late fees apply after April 30.
How CE is tracked
Log each course in the Board's CPE Tracker; renew via the WA Board system.
Watch out: Ethics MUST be the Washington-specific board-approved course; non-technical subjects are capped at 60 hours and nano-learning at 12.
